Why I switched from Bamboo Flooring to Laminate Flooring?
These were the days of the last summer when I was watching an interesting movie and I was interrupted by the noise that was created when my young son dropped the ice cream tub on the floor. At that time, I had installed bamboo flooring due to its great look and design.
“All that glitters is not gold” is I thought was just an old saying for nothing. However, that day I actually analyzed the actual truth behind the words. Actually, I was inspired by the great look and the color in the pictures that I have seen on the internet and in the magazines. I was making my house at that time when I though of going to bamboo flooring. I never knew what will be the outcomes of this flooring.
As a matter of fact, no house is complete without furniture and all the other stuff. However, the outcomes were disastrous just after I installed the flooring. The workers who were arranging the furniture dragged the furniture on the floor like nothing, which caused scratches on the floor. After all the furniture was set, the floor was just like it was under use for the last twenty years. It was nearly not useable. However, I had to face the loss.
I faced many problems with bamboo flooring whenever I tried to make minor or major shifting of furniture in my house. Then whenever something was split on the floor, I had to clean up that immediately. I had listened “there is nothing to cry over split milk” but I had to cry many and many times. Same was the case when my child did that.
Now it was the time when I had to take a decision. I was really very much angry with the maintenance cost and the problems that I faced with this flooring type. That time, my friend installed laminate flooring in his house that inspired my and I just did the same.
Now I am enjoying a beautiful and risk free life from flooring maintenance and other such costs. Now I do not have to miss my movie while my children split something on the floor. I can easily shift the furniture. I can do the maintenance and cleaning work myself and the most important, it is also giving me almost the same look as wooden flooring.
