Reality hidden in cork flooring
I was not aware that there should be a separate kind of flooring in my bathroom and kitchens when I was setting up my house. However, while I was about to install flooring in the house, I came to know about the cork flooring on the internet.
As a matter of fact, cork is preferred for the home owners in bathroom and kitchen. You should seal it from the sides so that the water does not get in the flooring, if you are also using it for the same purpose.
This is not like the wooden flooring. In wooden flooring, the wood is collected any where from the wood. However, if you see cork flooring material, then it is made only from bark of the wood. Actually, bark is harvested after every ten months in a year. After that, the bark is grinded to make cork which is then used as flooring material.
As a matter of fact, the cork flooring is not what you think is on the top of the wine bottle. The cork is held under high temperature in the oven for a long time. This is what it makes dark.
After looking at the qualities hidden in the cork flooring type, I finally decided to install cork flooring in my house for kitchen and bathroom. The main reason of cork floors that they are used in the houses is that it is basically durable and in comparison to the costly wooden floors, it is more resistible and more reliable for the home owners.
I was also told that there are two types of cork flooring that one can install in their house. One is soft and the other one is hard. If you are using the soft cork for your house, then you should not put heavy materials on the floor as it can get the floor damaged and it can cause dent on the floor. If you are using the hard material then it is preferred that you do not get heavy material on the floor for a long time.
I have applied wax on the floor for maintaining glossy shine, and I am also maintaining it after every five months. This is due to the reason that if you do not do this, and then the floor will lose its shine and eventually, it will cause to make the floor look odd.
